We only ship to the USA lower 48 states. We ship via UPS ground unless the item is very large then we ship via truck.
Shipping is free at time of order but if you return the item we will deduct our shipping cost from the refund.
Every item we sell is ordered from the manufacture for you. In some cases the item will be shipped directly to you by the manufacturer.
On the web page every item indicates approximately how long it will be before we ship that item. Please keep in mind this is when the item will leave the warehouse.
Once an item has shipped, your will receive a “shipping confirmation’ email which will include tracking numbers so you can follow the progress of your shipment at www.ups.com unless otherwise stated.
We make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee a delivery date.
When trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, you should consider Credit Card approval must be received prior to processing and UPS delivers only during business hours, Monday – Friday excluding holidays.
Be absolutely sure to give a correct address, otherwise, there will be a $5.00 UPS correction fee.
Ordering Options
In order to ensure the accuracy of your order and information, you must place your order online.
If for some reason you are unable to place your order on-line and must place a telephone order, you will receive an order confirmation that you must email back to us with your approval. Your order will not process until we receive a confirmation from you that we have all the correct information.

We understand your concern about security and privacy. We protect sensitive information you give us, such as credit card numbers, by using GeoTrust QuickSSL software, which encrypts the information you share with us.

Out of Stock Items
While we make every effort to list merchandise that is available, occasionally items may be out of stock or discontinued.
If the item you have ordered is not readily available, we will send you an e-mail update as quickly as possible. It will then be your choice to proceed and keep the order in place, modify, or cancel it.
Items are not charged to your credit card until stock availability is verified.
Order Cancellation
While we have a short window built into our order process, we generally process/ship shelf stock very quickly.
If an order has processed but not shipped, you will incur a 5% cancellation fee.
Once an order has shipped out it will be too late to be cancelled. You would then fall into our Return Policy.
Return Policy
We use the same policies online as we do in our retail store. In most cases we special order each item from the manufacture for you. Please make sure you want the items you order.
If you need to cancel, change or return an item, all items are subject to a 25% restocking fee
If there has been any shipping cost incurred by either us or the manufacture that amount is not refundable. (Shipping is free at the time of order but, if the item is returned the shipping charges will be deducted from refund.)
If you want to return an item, email us at RMA@4houselighting.com within 1 week of receiving an item to receive a RMA (Return Merchandise Number). After 7 days we consider the sale final. *
Items must be retuned within 2 weeks of you receiving the return instructions.
All items must be received back from you in the same condition as we sent them.
We do not allow returns of items that have been installed or altered in any way.
The items must be in the same packing material and you must pay return shipping and insure the package. We cannot give credit for damaged goods and you may want to make a claim against the carrier for the loss.
Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will refund the purchase price, minus the 25% restocking fee and less all shipping & handling charges incurred by us or the manufacture.
All sales are final on installed items.

*if you return anything without a Return Authorization Number and/or to an incorrect return address your account will be charged an additional handling fee of 20% and the additional shipping charges for the item(s) to be sent back to you. Not all items can be sent back to their point of origin or to our showroom. PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE YOU RETURN ONE OF OUR PRODUCTS.
Damaged/Defective Items
We make every effort to ensure your items arrive at your door safely. Despite our best efforts, sometimes breakage does occur.
We require notification of defective, damaged or incorrect items within 1 week of delivery.
We pay for all return shipping charges when you notify us within 1 week of delivery to you.
We will ship you out a replacement item(s) or part (s) as needed at our discretion at no charge. However, if we do not receive the defective, damaged or incorrect item back from you within 2 weeks of you receiving the return instructions, we will charge your credit card for the purchase price of the replacement items we sent to you.
All items must be received back from you in good condition and in the original packing materials.
If you choose not to have the defective item replaced, then you will now fall under our return policy, please review the return policy above.

Clearance Items
Clearance items consist of over-stock, discontinued, returns and store displays. Items are inspected and verified to be in new condition.
Due to the substantial price reduction that is offered, items purchased on clearance are not returnable.
Product warranties still apply.
Replacement items for defective or damaged clearance or closeout merchandise, if available, will be shipped free of shipping charges. If stock has been depleted, a full refund will be issued. If a refund is issued, amount refunded will be at the actual purchase price. Refunds are generally issued within two weeks after the returned item(s) are received at our warehouse.

Manufactures Warranties
Most items listed on our website have a one year limited warranty from the manufacture.
The limited warranty generally covers manufactures material and workmanship.
The warranty generally does not cover labor costs, consequential damages, nor does it apply to any item(s) that have been improperly installed, overloaded, altered, or otherwise abused.
Finishes are usually specifically excluded from the terms of the warranty since they are subject to environmental and maintenance damages.

If you would like to have us help in the replacement of an item covered under the manufactures warranty, please know that you are responsible for any shipping charges.
Pictures
The pictures of the items are provided by the manufacturers. In most cases they are the same pictures printed in their catalog. The manufacturers does it’s best to create pictures that correctly depicts the color of the item.
In most cases the pictures are taken under a bright light and will look different in your home.
Also, the color of the pictures may vary depending on the settings of your monitor.
Due to the application of the finishes not every item will look the same.
Keep in mind all hand made products can differ.
Likewise, Alabaster is a natural stone and no two will look alike.

Sales Tax will be removed when your order is processed. Sales Tax will be removed from all subsequent orders unless we are notified to include the tax.
